The Cantine Europa present the Grillante
Sparkling wine organic cricket DOC Sicily. Straw yellow color with floral scent and hints of violet, green apple and tropical fruit. Fresh, harmonious and structured taste. Excellent as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to each course of each meal up to the dessert.
It comes from an early harvest that takes place already in the first ten days of August and is ready before the end of summer. The Grillante organic sparkling wine from Grillo grapes produced with the charmat method is an organic and sustainable sparkling wine : due to the cultivation and production regime and the fact that the grapes with which it is obtained derive from the late thinning of the Grillo vineyards destined for objectives higher oenological wines, that is, they are brilliantly recovered rather than simply discarded. Its production, in fact, is part of the three-year project "Integrated approach for the development of innovative products in the driving sectors of the Sicilian agri-food sector", funded by the Horizon 2020 Program, in which Cantine Europa collaborated with the University of Palermo, the regional wine and oil institute and the Biopek Snc dairy in Gibellina, in the province of Trapani.
Grillante, the organic and sustainable sparkling wine born from the vineyards of Cantine Europa , an agricultural cooperative company in Western Sicily, has become the protagonist of one of the most exclusive events in the world: the "Once Upon a Kitchen" charity dinner , held at Gotham Hall in New York . The three masters of international cuisine, Massimo Bottura, chef and patron of "Osteria Francescana", Joan Roca, culinary genius of "El Celler de Can Roca" and Mauro Colagreco, soul of the "Mirazur" - respectively in the first three places among the stars Michelin in the world - and Christina Tosi, chef, pastry chef and founder of Milk Bar, a famous pastry shop in Brooklyn, cooked together for the prestigious charity dinner organized by the GR8 agency in favor of God's Love We Deliver, a charity founded in 1985 that he is in charge of preparing and delivering meals, giving nutritional advice to people living with serious diseases of the New York metropolitan area.
