Rosé wines are born in Sicily from Nerello Mascalese grapes, also called Negrello, it is a vine that grows mainly on Etna. Its name is due to the fact that for centuries it has been cultivated in the Mascali County area on land consisting largely of volcanic sands. Its grapes have a characteristic oblong shape and light red color.
